Step 1: Online Application

 

The first step to the hiring process is completing an online application. Please begin by creating an account on CampInTouch here. This will lead you directly to our application.  Remember that your answers to our application questions are our first impressions of who you are. We want you to be able to present your best self. Our advice is take time and be thorough with your responses. Once you have completed your answers, proof read to check for grammar and quality of answers.
Here is what we are looking for.
  •  Are you invested in the mission of TAW?
  • Can you present yourself professionally?
  • Do you have a growth mindset? 
  • Do you take the time to pay attention to detail and to communicate thoughts effectively? 

 

Once we have reviewed your application, we will be in touch regarding the interviewing process, if applicable.

 

References:
You will be asked to list three references two professional and one character reference is appropriate. A professional reference is someone who has supervised you in a professional environment. This could be a teacher, coach, boss, volunteer supervisor, etc.. Family members, friends, and godparents will not be accepted as a professional reference but will be accepted as a character reference. Please list their name, how you know them, email, and phone number.

You will be contacted by a member of the TAW Team if you have been offered an interview. After a time has been mutually agree upon, she will send a link on Google Meetings. On the date and time of your interview, you will use this link to enter the chat room where your interview will be held.

After the interview has been conducted we will let you know of our decision typically within a weeks time. We may offer you a position, place you on a waiting list, ask to apply again in the next year, or inform you that you will not be moving on in the hiring process. If a position has been offered, you will receive an email informing you that your work agreement has been made available and a background check as been sent you way. From there you have two weeks to review and accept your work agreement and complete and pass your background check.
