Becky T Youth Development Counselor

Hi, my name is Becky! I'm so excited to be a part of the TAW team.I live in South East England and this is my first year as a counsellor. I currently work as an early years educator and have been developing my career as a practitioner for the past four years. I can’t wait to expand on my experience at camp teaching canoeing, zumba and pottery. In my free time, I enjoy evenings out with my friends and Sunday walks along the seaside with my puppy and family. See you soon!

Jane Broughton B Youth Development Counselor

Hi! I'm Jane Broughton from Columbia, South Carolina! This will be my 9th year at camp and I am so excited to return as a counselor. I am currently in high school and spend most of my time hanging out with my friends and family. I love playing tennis, shopping, and traveling. My favorite part of camp is the friendships that are made and I can't wait to return as a counselor alongside my best friends. A fun fact about me is that I have a pet guinea pig named Lenny. I'm so excited to meet everyone and I am already counting down the days till I'm back at TAW!

Harper B Youth Development Counselor

Hi! My name is Harper and I’m from Miami, Florida and this is my third summer at TAW. Right now I’m in school for film but I also enjoy photography and playing music. My favorite part of TAW is being able to detach from my outside life and be surrounded by camp’s beautiful atmosphere. One fun fact about me is that I used to be a gymnast. I can’t wait to meet everyone!

Gabby G Youth Development Counselor

Hi! I am Gabby and I am from Washington, D.C. I was a camper at ton-a-wandah for 8 years and am now ready for my first summer as a counselor! I will be a high school senior this fall and love spending my time with loved ones, reading, and running. My favorite part of camp is making connections with all the wonderful women around me, but especially all the lake side activities. A fun fact about me is that I have been to 15 concerts!

Paulina G Youth Development Counselor

Hello everyone! My name is Paulina, I'm from Mexico and I can't wait to go back to camp this year!! This would be my third time at camp, but I wasn't able to go back last summer, so this will be my second time there (so excited btw). I recently graduated from Marketing, but I have a huge interest in photography. I enjoy working out, reading, and dancing. Important to know... I love going to concerts, festivals, and DJ sets! My favorite music genres are house and progressive house :) My favorite part of camp is definitely chatting with the girls and their stories, as well as the amazing views that camp offers every day!

Ella H Youth Development Counselor

Hey Tonawandah family!! My name is Ella and I'm from a town called Northampton in Great Britain.This is my first ever year at camp TAW and I am so excited. I'm in my last year of studying sports coaching and sports massage at college. I also have spent the last 9 years playing rugby and enjoy it loads. The things I am most looking forward to about coming to camp is being in a new and beautiful environment and meeting new people and making new friends. A fun fact about me is that my favourite drink is not tea but it is good to dunk digestives into. I cannot wait to meet everyone!!

Sofia M Youth Development Counselor

Hello Tonawandah Family! I’m Sofía, 21 years old (turning 22 on April 20th). I’m a tourism administrator, recently graduated this February. I’m from Pereira, a small city in Colombia, part of the famous Coffee Region. This will be my first time at Camp, and I’m super excited! I love outdoor activities, hiking, mountain adventures, camping, swimming, and I’m passionate about volleyball (I’ve been playing for years). I also enjoy theater and I’m very outgoing and cheerful. A fun fact about me is I hate sleeping with a pillow on my head, I always sleep with it on my legs . Can’t wait to meet you all and leave a positive mark on everyone I meet!

Natasha P Youth Development Counselor

Hey Tonawandah Family! I’m Natasha, and I’m super excited to be! I'm originally from a small town in North Carolina called Laurinburg, but I’m currently living in Charlotte, NC. This is my very first summer at TAW! I’m studying at Central Piedmont Community College to become a Nurse/Emergency Medical Technician—such a cool journey!

I love experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen and spending time with my friends. Working with kids is something I'm really passionate about; it’s so rewarding to watch them grow and to be part of that process. I can’t wait to meet all of you and make some amazing memories together!

Shelby N Youth Development Counselor

Hey everyone! I'm Shelby and I am from Gainesville, GA. This is my first summer at camp! I am currently getting my psychology degree at Georgia College and State University. I love to work out, hang out with friends, and paint. I am most excited to connect with all my campers and just have fun! A fun fact about me is that I have broken all my fingers. Isa R Youth Development Counselor

Hi! I’m Isa from Avon, CO, and this will be my 12th summer at TAW. I’m currently a neuroscience and pre-med student at Skidmore College in upstate NY. My favorite part about camp is either Laurel Banquet (I love seeing everyone’s creativity and the incredible talents we have) or the archery program at Camp TAW. A fun fact about me is that I love the ocean, and my favorite animals are whale sharks. I’m so excited to have an amazing summer with everyone at camp!

Eden H Youth Development Counselor

Hi! I’m Eden from Columbia, SC. This will be my 7th year at camp, but first as a counselor! I love listening to music and playing guitar. My favorite parts about camp are team events, especially basketball, and Captain Billy’s fried chicken! A fun fact about me is that I have a dog named Jellybean. Gracey H Youth Development Counselor

Hi camp Tonawandah family! I'm Gracey from Marietta, Ga and this is my first summer at TAW. I am currently a student at Kennesaw State University studying exercise science. I love art, the outdoors, and spending time with family and friends. I am excited to experience what camp has to offer and help the campers have a great experience with their activities and growing over the summer. A fun fact about me is that I have two Rottweilers at home, both giant babies. Can't wait to meet everyone!

Anna E Youth Development Counselor

Hi everyone! My name is Anna, I’m from Berlin, Germany and this will be my first year at camp TAW. I just came back from a voluntary year in the Netherlands where I was working and living with people with mental disabilities and now I’m a full time babysitter until the start of university in October. Besides that, I love going out into nature, travelling, doing sports and making music! What I’m most looking forward to this summer is making a lot of new friends, learning loads of new things from all the campers and other counsellors and most importantly just having as much fun together as possible! A fun fact about me is that I taught myself how to juggle. I can’t wait to meet you all! :)

Weronika M Youth Development Counselor

Hello! Dzień dobry! I’m Weronika from Warsaw, Poland, and I’m so excited for my first summer at Ton-A-Wandah! I graduated with a degree in Comparative Studies on Civilization from Jagiellonian University in Kraków and spent a semester abroad at Sapienza University of Rome. I love traveling, musical theatre, and learning new languages. Right now, I’m mastering Hindi! At camp, I’m most looking forward to Wacky Wednesdays (I’m already planning the craziest outfits!) and decorating my bunk. Fun fact: My family owns an ice cream shop, so free ice cream is a big perk! Can’t wait to make unforgettable memories together!

Hello TAW family, my name is Keira and I’m from England. This is my second year at Camp. I am currently working in Cardiothoracic theatres for the NHS and I’m due to start university in September 2025 studying psychology and counselling. I love playing football, spending time with family and friends and listening to music. My favourite part about camp is being able to meet so many people from around the world and make amazing memories together and being able to watch and help campers grow. Fun fact about me is that I can play piano man on the harmonica :)

My name is Sana, I’m from England and this is my second year at camp. I currently work in a café and have applied for university, studying Musical theatre. My hobbies include singing and playing piano and I love meeting my friends at the beach. My favourite part of camp is meeting new people from all around the world and seeing my campers grow as the summer progresses. A fun fact about me is that I can do a back flip! Evye S Youth Development Counselor

Hello! My name is Evye and this will be my 9th summer at TAW. I was a camper for 7 years (first cabin was Dogwood!) and a counselor last year (in Holly cabin!). I have lived in Colorado and South Carolina and I love to travel- my favorite place I've been is Italy. At home I play lacrosse and hang out with friends. My favorite part of camp is the waterfront and all my friends that I get to see each summer! A fun fact about me is that I have a twin brother and my best friend (who also goes to TAW) has a twin brother and we're all BFFs. Can't wait for this summer!!!

Beth K Youth Development Counselor

Hello everyone, I'm Beth from Glasgow, Scotland and this will be my 2nd summer here at Camp Ton-A-Wandah. I graduated from college last year with a qualification in Healthcare practice and hoping to attend University next year to fulfil my dream of becoming a paramedic, It has always been my dream to help others in need. I'm currently still at home with my parents and dogs Bute and new puppy Olive. I work at the American company Topgolf here in Glasgow and absolutely love the atmosphere it brings to all the players and playmakers. My favrouite part of camp is the evening programmes, I love when all the camp comes together and get to enjoy a EP and having fun, laughing with each other after a long day doing activities. I also love when myself and campers try to catch fireflies on the walk back to our cabins after EP or when it gets dark at camp. I find it pretty magical as we don't have fireflies here in Scotland. A fun fact about me is that I am a pretty good baker and love to bake in my free time for my family and friends. I can't wait to meet everyone and have another unforgettable summer at camp.
