Hello everyone! I'm Lora and I am from McCormick, SC. This will be my first trip to TAW. I have been a nurse for 30 years with lots of different experiences during that time. Currently, I am a school nurse for elementary school. I have 3 dogs that I am going to miss terribly during my time there, but I can't wait for the fun!!

School/Career: I have been a pediatric nurse for 11 years. I'm currently a middle school nurse and caring for kids is my passion!

Fun Fact: I am originally from upstate New York. The fresh Blue Ridge Mountain air brings me back to childhood days in the Adirondacks!

I cannot wait to see how campers have grown from last summer and meet new ones. My daughter will also be joining for her second year and I'm elated to witness her experience with her friends and see the way she grows!

Fun Fact: I know how to fly a plane, saved my duck from a hawk attack and have sailed all the British Virgin Islands (BVI)!

I'm thrilled to be joining TAW for the third session this summer and supporting the girls in my role as camp nurse. After seeing how much my daughter Sara grew during her first full three-week session last year, I'm excited to help create that same sense of confidence, joy, and independence for every camper. This year is especially meaningful as my youngest will be experiencing camp for the very first time, and I can't wait to watch her discover the magic of TAW. I'm looking forward to being part of a team that helps each girl feel safe, supported, and ready to make the most of her time at camp. Here's to a wonderful third session and a summer full of growth, laughter, and unforgettable memories.
