It's always a great day at Camp Ton-A-Wandah! Campers are in control of how they spend their time here at Ton-A-Wandah. They choose up to 10 activities (5 for Monday, Wednesday, Friday and 5 for Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday). Swimming is prescheduled with their cabins. Sign ups for classes will be held on the first full day of camp. We do not sign up for classes prior to camper arrival.
Horseback Riding and Advanced Backpacking are Additional Options and you may choose these when you log into your Camp In Touch Account.

We want every camper to have the opportunity to choose what they love and to try something new. No schedule will be the same. After the first week of camp, campers are allowed to change up to 2 activities on their schedule for the final weeks of camp (and of course if there is an extreme issue with whatever they are taking!).

Progression Periods

NEW IN 2023!!!  Ton-A-Wandah is updating the activity schedule. On Tuesday/Thursday/Saturday we are combining our 5th and 6th period activities to make one long period. Why? We are calling this our Progression Period. Our hope is that our campers will be able to sign up for an activity they want to dive deeper into! They will focus on building skill and fostering an interest in this activity! If their skill level is advanced in a certain activity – they may actually go on an adventure associated with that activity! (That’s our goal!)

Activity Waiver Form

With the addition of potential out of camp trips associated with advanced activities, we have created an additional Activity Waiver that will cover these trips for all families to sign. With your application, you signed a waiver that covered risks associated within camp. This form gives us permission to take your camper off camp property for hikes, advanced programming, and even our out of camp trips! You do have the option to say that you would like your camper to stay within camp property, but if you choose this option, it takes away from dances, hikes, visiting the Carl Sandburg home, etc. that may enhance your camper’s experience at camp.  Log into your Camp in Touch Account (once enrolled) to complete.
