Ton-A-Wandah is a girls summer camp located in the mountains of Western North Carolina. Our name means “by the fall of water”.
Since 1933, girls ages 6-15 have come to discover Ton-A-Wandah is more than a place; it's a place in your heart.

Because the work you do is so vital, and the timeless traditions that we hold dear at Ton-A-Wandah are so special to us, training and awareness for every new and returning staff member have become vital in building the camp foundation on which our campers and their families have come to depend. A paid orientation week is mandatory for all staff just prior to the beginning of our June Session. In addition, special pre-camp workshops are offered for Riding, Lifeguarding and Climbing/Ropes.
By working and playing together, we will more quickly become a "team", therein enabling our campers to have the best possible camp experience! It is our goal, that by the end of orientation week, you will feel like a veteran Ton-A-Wandah staff member, and be ready to handle anything!
