Located in Historic Flatrock, NC at Camp Ton-A-Wandah, Flatrock Outdoors is committed to training outdoor professionals and those who spend time in the outdoors. Flatrock Outdoors also offers opportunities to individuals and groups, who are seeking knowledge in lifesaving, group facilitating, and specialty camping needs.

Our goal is to offer informative and affordable courses and certifications to those interested in learning more to protect themselves and others in times of need. Professional representatives of local and nationally recognized organizations that specialize in particular areas of training teach and instruct all of Flatrock Outdoors courses.

Flatrock Outdoors is committed to insuring that quality of programming is the highest available. We go to great lengths to assure that it is the best in the industry. Extensive research has been done to assure that this happens. We offer comfortable lodging and quality meals to make your courses more comfortable and enjoyable. These are at no extra cost to the participant of the course and we encourage participants to stay with us to avoid long commutes that seem to hinder the learning experience.

Courses are offered in the spring but can be arranged any time of the year in advance to meet the needs of different organizations, groups, and individuals.
