From the check in, dinner (awesome), campfire/s’mores, singing on Friday to the beautiful message from Charla on Sunday we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The selection of activities on Saturday were amazing! A couple of us tried the tai-chi which was great fun and a wonderful introduction. We hiked, road horses, climbed the wall, managed our way over the ropes course, had fun with the archery, enjoyed our hikes, refreshed our skills in a canoe, had fun with the crafts (painting bags to take to the grocery/Target), the girls learned how to knit – and loved it (yipes!), made some cut glass and wood burning masterpieces, and relaxed on the TAW shoreline. It was a fabulous weekend.
I just wanted to say thank you so much for your hard work to make last weekend possible. We had a cabin full of ladies from four different states. We had not seen each other in thirty years. Thanks for helping to make our reunion possible. It was a great weekend. See ya next year.
Words cannot express how special a time the GUGG was for me and my fellow TAW girls from the 70′s!!! All I can say is thank you to you all for making our reunion so awesome! We definitely plan to all return next year for more together time- and we hope to bring a few new-old friends with us who couldn’t make it this time! TAW is still as beautiful a place as it was 30 years ago- actually even more beautiful and the loving care of the place we all love is evident! It is amazing that girls today are having the same experiences we had long ago. I can attest to the fact that TAW is a life-changing and life-enriching experience for all who are lucky enough to be a part of it!
